Only the first field " Fiche number " requires the full number of the file. For all the other fields the entry of a single letter, followed by hitting the 'search' button, is sufficient. The more letters are entered, the closer you get to the wanted item, but in the mean time the greater the risk to enter one or more erroneous letters. The field "Function" provides a list of various possibilities where you can make a choice.
